ABOUT ME:
Patricia DeArmas started practicing ITF Taekwon-Do in 2006, when she was nearly eleven. Now she is a third degree black belt and a three-time national champion heading to Worlds for the second time.
She competed in the World Championships in 2013, and now she's back on Team USA a second time after qualifying in November with a gold medal in sparring and a silver in patterns competition.
She has earned a place to compete in the Women's Middle-Weight Sparring Division and in Women's patterns. Patricia dreams of winning gold while having the experience of a lifetime.
With competitors from over 60 countries, the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships is the largest and most prestigious ITF Taekwon-Do competition. The Worlds are held in beautiful Jeselo, Italy and are what Patricia considers to be "The Olympics of Taekwon-Do."
