Biografia
I have been competing at an international level in Kayaking for the last 7 years. As a member of the South African national team, my greatest achievement has been winning the Long Distance K1 Race at African Champs as well as making B finals each year at the U18 and U23 World Sprint Kayak Championships (top 18).
I started Kayaking when I was 10 years old because my dad had been a paddler and I wanted to be just like him. Along the way, I won provincial and National Titles as well as represented my country since I was 14 which allowed me to arrive where I am today. My main goal now is to compete at the U23 World Sprint Kayak Championships in Portugal this year and to gain experience to better my chances of qualifying for the Olympic Games.
