Judoka canadien, Alexandre Arencibia a gagné une médaille de bronze au championnats mondiaux juniors en 2018, exploit jamais réalisé par un athlète de niveau cadet au Canada.
De plus en 2018, il gagne l'or à la Coupe Européenne cadet à Fuengirola. Il s'empare également de la plus haute marche du podium à la coupe panaméricaine au Canada en 2019 en plus d'une médaille de bronze à l'open d'Asie à Hong Kong. En 2022, il obtient l'argent à l'open européen de Cluj Napoca ainsi qu'à l'open panaméricain à Saint-Domingue.

Canadian judoka Alexandre Arencibia captured a bronze medal at the 2018 Junior World Championships in the Bahamas.
In 2018 he won gold at the Cadet European Cup in Fuengirola. He took the gold medal at the 2019 Coupe Canada Cup for Juniors in Montreal. He captured a bronze medal at the Asian Open in Hong Kong in 2019. He secured a silver medal at the European Open in Cluj Napoca in 2022. He secured a silver medal at the Panam Open in Santo Domingo in 2022.
