Agé de 17 ans et présentement élève au cégep Maisonneuve en Sciences
de la Nature, Alexandre a effectué ses études primaires et secondaires au
collège Stanislas.
Parallèlement à ses études scolaires qui ont toujours été récompensées
par des félicitations et des compliments de la part de ses professeurs ainsi
que de la Direction du Collège, il pratique le judo depuis l’âge de 5 ans.
C’est tout simplement une passion et sa façon de vivre.
Alexandre évolue au sein du Club Shidokan depuis 2011, fait partie de l’
équipe du Québec au Niveau Élite, et s’entraîne à temps plein à l’Institut
National du Sport. Grâce à la fédération, à son club ainsi qu’à l’équipe
canadienne, il combat aujourd’hui au niveau provincial, national et
international.
Depuis deux ans, il a récolté environ 50 médailles (U16, U18, U21 et
sénior) et gagné plusieurs compétitions importantes comme les
championnats Canadiens, l’Omnium du Québec, l’Ontario Open, l’Élite 8.
Lors des Championnats Canadiens en 2018, Alexandre a récolté son 5e
titre national en carrière.
Les plus grands moments de sa carrière fut sa médaille d’or au Master de
Brème en Allemagne, sa première place à la Coupe européenne en
Espagne, les Coupes Panaméricaines en 2018 - République Dominicaine et
au Canada. Il finira ses années cadet avec deux médailles de bronze au
Championnat Panaméricain en Argentine.
Ses premières expériences à l’étranger lui a tout simplement confirmé
qu’il voulait aller jusqu’au bout de ses rêves. Depuis 2017 il aura
compétitionné dans plus de 12 pays et aura récolté encore plus de
médailles, ce qui lui permettra de terminer sa saison 2018 avec 5 titres

D’autres expériences ont aussi forgé son caractère, comme son premier
championnat panaméricain, sa tournée en Hongrie et en Pologne, le
championnat du monde Cadet ainsi que sa tournée en Asie au Tokyo et
Hong Kong Open- Sénior). Tout au long de son parcours, son judo a
vraiment évolué, il a appris à mieux gérer son stress, à analyser ses
adversaires et à tout simplement travailler encore plus fort pour atteindre
ses objectifs.
Il est aujourd’hui 27e au monde au niveau Junior, et 2e niveau Cadet
Alexandre is 17 years old, he is presently studying in Health Sciences at the
Cegep Maisonneuve. He did his Primary and High School studies at
Stanislas College in montreal.
While performing at school, Alexandre has been practicing judo since he
was 5 years old. It has become part of his lifestyle and his ultimate
passion.
Alexandre belongs to the Shidokan club and he is a member of The
Quebec team ranked Elite. Moreover, he now trains full time at the
National Sport Institute. Thanks to his federation, his club and the
Canadian team, Alexandre has been fighting at the provincial, national and
international level.
For the last two years, he has collected more than 50 medals (U-16, U-18,
U-21 and Seniors) and has won many prestigious national and
international competitions such as The Open National Championships, The
quebec Omnium, The Ontario Open, The Pedro Challenge and the top 8
The last year was filled with successful moments. Alexandre won gold in
the Bremen Masters in Germany, gold in the european Cup in Spain, gold
in the Pan American cups, In the Dominican Republic and in Canada. He
finished his year with two bronze medals at the Pan American
CHampionships. Furthermore, he collected many other medals in other
countries and has travelled in more than 12 countries in 2017-2018. All in
all, he finishes his cadet years with five National title and he is presently
SECOND IN THE WORLD.

All of these experiences have simply confirmed that he needs to go to the
end and push for his Olympic dream.
Other experiences have also forged his character such as his First Pan
American Championships, his European tour in Hungary and Poland, the
Cadet World Championships in Chile and his Asian tour in Japan and Hong
Kong. Through, this journey, his judo has evolved tremendously, he has
learned to manage his stress, to analyse his opponents and simply work
harder and harder each day to attain his objectives
He is today 27th in the world in Junior and 2nd in Cadets
