Danny's skiing started with his family. He has been fortunate to have had excellent coaches and competitors from several clubs including Calgary Alpine Racing Club, Banff Alpine Racers, Lake Louise Ski Club, Sunshine Alpine Racing Club and currently Burke Mountain Academy.
He has been competing at a national level in Alpine Skiing for the last two years now. As a member of the U16 Canadian National Team at Whistler Cup he realized his greatest achievement thus far by winning the Super G speed event and The Dave Murray Award for Top Canadian Alpine Male Athlete for 2018.
He started Alpine Skiing when he was 3 years old, Along the way, he won many age group races and reached the podium in more than one international championship age group race which allowed him to arrive where he is today.
His main goal this year is to compete this March at the North American Cup FIS Race in Panorama Resort, British Colombia. Following this he will compete at the Canadian National Championships.
At 17 years old, proceeding his second year of FIS, Danny has been racing closer with the bigger field like the Northern American Cups and Eastern Cups which are both very difficult series to compete in. He has a lot more races to complete this year, which most involve the Best skiers in North America
