Biografia
I am Arthur Margelidon, a Canadian judoka, based in Montreal. I have been competing in judo since I was 6 years old. Over the past 17 years, I have competed in 4 wolrd championship, 5 panamerican championship and should have been in the 2016 rio olympic games but i had to withdraw due to a broken arm 2 weeks before the departure. I was 9th in the world in the olympic selection
My main achievements have been a 5th place at the junior world championship in 2013, 4 medals in panamerican championship (1gold in 2016 and 1 bronze at the panam games in 2015). I'm also a 4 time world cup gold medalist and multiple time medalist. Althoug my main achievement was to qualify for the 2016 olympics at the 9th place!
My long-term athletic dream is to win a gold medal at the olympic games. In the short term, however, I hope to compete at the next world championship in Budapest in august 2017 and win a medal!
Between my studies in human science and being a full-time athlete, I am always on the move. Your contribution would allow me to focus more of my time on training, allowing me to reach my athletic goals.
