Biography
Hello! My name is Rylie McAlpine. I have grown up in Oklahoma, and I play for a club volleyball team in Norman, OK. Although this is only my fourth year of playing club volleyball, I was chosen the last two years to play on the top level teams, 13 and 14 year old Premier Diamonds teams. I have mostly been a hitter, but I’m evolving and developing my skills as a setter which I’m loving.
Although I practice several hours 3 times a week, I am more than a volleyball player. I go to church twice a week, spend time with family, participate in student council, and maintain my grades as an honor student.
College volleyball is my goal, and club volleyball is my path to get there. However, It is very expensive. Costs include club dues, travel/hotel expenses for eight out of town tournaments (4 of those are out of state) and a trip to nationals (When not if we qualify). I want to help with whatever I can so I tried selling pumpkin bread and peanut brittle, but the profits didn’t even cover my shoes. Your help would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to raise 5,000 to help cover these expenses.
I love this sport, and I am very passionate about it. Your support will help me move closer to my goal.
