UPDATE: Thank you so much to everyone that has donated and helped me reach my goal well ahead of schedule! It's touching to see how many people believe in me and want to see me reach my potential! As mentioned below, team fees are $18,300, so anything I can get above and beyond the original $9,000 goal is absolutely awesome, and will go to pay for my fees. Thanks again!
I'm 24 years old and have been a member of the Canadian Ski Team since 2007. I've been skiing since before I was two years old, and racing competitively since I was 8. Racing on the World Cup and at the Olympics has been my dream since before I was old enough to understand the significance of either event! In 2010 I won the Nor-Am Cup Overall & Super G titles, which granted me a spot in the World Cup for the following season.
I began racing on the World Cup tour in 2011, and achieved my first couple of Top 30 results last season, which was extremely exciting for me and has fueled my passion for the sport in a big way. I had another big first last season, racing at the 2013 World Championships in Schladming, AUT! After a really productive summer in the gym, I'm stronger and bigger than ever before and am really looking forward to a good preparation period on snow from now until the season begins in Sölden, AUT, on October 27th!
Since joining the Ski Team in 2007 there have always been Team Fees, but this year they are the highest yet at $18,300. All donations will go directly to pay my Team Fees. Every donation is very much appreciated and will help me along my journey to the World Cup podium and Olympics. To the right you can see the different donation levels and every bit helps!
I have some pretty sweet swag up for grabs to thank you, so you can not only support me, but display it with pride as well! Otherwise, please help me in spreading the message. Twitter, Facebook, word of mouth, carrier pidgeon, it all helps!

So long Ushuaia! It was a long camp, and it was a great camp. Having never been to Ushuaia before, I was really pumped when we first showed up to real winter snow (something very hard to find even in the Southern Hemisphere's winter) and the huge variety of terrain we had access to. We managed 19 days on snow, and only two or three of those were anything other than amazing. I'm happy with what I was able to accomplish on snow, and am really excited with the new things I'm working on. I am now in Buenos Aires, 10 hours into the 48 hour travel adventure back home. More to come soon, but that's all for now, thanks for following!

It's officially official, my logos are complete! Really stoked on how they turned out, and pumped to get them on some stickers & shirts. Top one is my official logo, with the bottom being an alternate/symbol for my website. What do you think of them?

I've been in Argentina for ten days now and thought I would share some observations from the short time I've been here: 1. The skiing is great. 2. The people are friendly & funny. 3. Excessively loud music at all times the of the day is accepted (especially before 8am) 4. The national beer is Quillmes. Roughly pronounced "kill-me's", which is awesome. 5. If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes. 6. If you like the weather, wait five minutes. 7. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day. 8. Stray dogs are really, really good at finding food in the trash. 9. Hotel rooms are bigger than in Europe. (Hint hint Europe!) 10. Hirscher's still got it. Definitely enjoying it over here! Training has been really good so far, and we are one day away from the end of our second, five day block. I've been mixing it up with Super G and GS, making strides in both. One of the best things about this place is the variety of terrain/lane choices, which keeps things interesting Thanks for following my fundraiser, and don't hesitate to email me if you have questions, or whatever!
Hope this helps your dreams come true. Best of luck to you Dustin. Suzanne Christopherson and John McCarthy (Rebecca's parents).
