Name: Samuel Tiukuvaara

Occupation: Student
I started climbing when I was 10 years old at Coyote Rock Gym. It is an activity I enjoy with my father and brothers. When I was 13, I started training with my coach Yves. I also started competing at this time, and even winning some competitions.
In the process of growing up, I matured and become more focused. Each year in climbing has been an improvement from the previous, and this is a result of the hard work I put in. For example, this year I became the first ever national male junior bouldering champion.
My goal as a climber is to have fun, and to climb as hard as I can. I hope to be doing this for as long as I can.
