Biography
I am Abbigail Staples, an American student wrestler, based in Dallas, TX. I have been competing in combat sports since I was eight years old. Over the past eight years, I have competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Amateur Kickboxing and Wrestling.
My main achievements have been over 150 gold and silver medals in BJJ, with one televised ppv match and win, 1-0 amateur kickboxing in Oklahoma, 29-2 wrestling (including Varsity wrestling beginning Freshman year in HS). I have also had the opportunity to represent my previous HS in many tournaments, taking all gold.
My long-term athletic dream is to make the US Olympic Women's Wrestling Team. In the short term, however, I will compete at Women's Nationals U17, US Open U17, Regional, Fargo and Texas State Freestyle in 2025.
Between my High-school studies and being a full-time athlete, I am always on the move. Your contribution would allow me to focus more of my time on training, allowing me to reach my athletic goals.
