Biography
My name is Alex Lowthorpe and live in Kingston Upon Hull where i represent my local team, Kingston Kayak Club. I stared playing canoe polo from the age of nine and have progressed from playing in the youth leagues to playing at the highest level of British Canoe Polo in National Division 1.
It has been a dream of mine to be part of a Great British team that is crowned European and World Canoe Polo Champions and continue to work hard in training to try and achieve this.
I have just currently been selected to represent the Great British Under 21 Men at the 2016 Canoe Polo World Championships, Syracuse, Italy. (http://www.canoepolosyracuse2016.com/en_GB/)
Currently i am studying my A levels at Sixth form college where i hope to progress into university and study Sport Science.
