Ciao ragazzi
Mi chiamo Cristina. Ho sempre vissuto in Italia, ma avendo una madre gallese mi considero italo-inglese.
Sono una biologa: ho lavorato per 10 anni nel campo della ricerca oncologica, ma la mia vera passione è sempre stato lo sport. Ho praticato tanti sport nel corso degli anni, dal tennis allo snowboarding, all’arrampicata sportiva e ora, da 4 anni, mi dedico al triathlon. Dedizione, disciplina e motivazione mi hanno aiutato a raggiungere ottimi livelli in tutti gli sport, ma è solo nel triathlon che sento di poter ancora migliorare tanto e osare di più.
L’anno scorso ho ottenuto importanti risultati
· Campionessa italiana agegroup S4 duathlon classico
· Campionessa regionale triathlon lungo 70.3
· Terza al campionato italiano Assoluti duathlon classico
Questi risultati mi hanno fatto sognare oltre, e il mio sogno è Kona, il famoso campionato del mondo di Ironman.
Pensare che qualche anno fa ero costretta a letto, in fin di vita a causa di quella brutta bestia di nome Anoressia, mi fa desiderare questo sogno ancora di più. Mi piacerebbe che il mio sogno motivasse altre persone che soffrono di anoressia a reagire, lottare e far avverare i loro desideri. Io ho reagito e HO VINTO

Hi guys.
I’m Cristina. I'm Italian even if my mother is English so i consider myself half and half.
I'm a biologist; I've worked in cancer research field for 10 years, but my heart is devoted to sports. I've always practiced lots of sports throughout my life, passing from tennis to snowboarding to climbing and now, since 4 years, to triathlon. Dedication, discipline and motivation have helped me reach good results in all these sports. But its only with triathlon that i think i can stil improve and dare more.
Last year i accomplished some important results
· Italian Champion age group (35-39) duathlon classic
· Regional Champion triathlon 70.3 (lombardia)
· 3rd at the Italian championship classic duathlon
These results have made me dream on, and my dream is Kona, the famous world championship Ironman triathlon.
To think that some years ago i was forced to bed, almost completely defeated by that horrible beast named Anorexia, makes me want this dream even stronger. I hope that my dream will motivate other people who are suffering the same illness, to react and make their dreams come true! I REACTED AND I WON!
