Biography
I am Dalis Gures, a dedicated young athlete with a powerful dream. I am writing to you today in the hope that you can help me achieve my goal of becoming an Olympic champion.
Originally from Ethiopia and raised in a Kenyan refugee camp, I found a new home in Canada in 2016. Despite facing numerous challenges, I have discovered a passion for boxing that has become my driving force.
Since 2019, I have embraced the sport with unwavering commitment. Despite initial setbacks, I have achieved remarkable milestones, including representing Team Canada, ranking second in the country, and winning multiple championships and medals. However, financial constraints pose a significant obstacle on my journey.
I am seeking sponsorship to overcome these financial challenges and fully concentrate on my training. Your support would not only alleviate the burdens of relocating, training expenses, and daily living costs but also enable me to pursue my dream of becoming an Olympian.
