"I left my family, friends, and my country, to live the dream, to do what I really love: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu." "Hello, My Name is Filip Matos. I am Black Belt under Professor Rodrigo Carvalho. In 2011 Professor Rodrigo invited me to come to Canada to train with him at Gracie Barra Vancouver. that time i went in the college doing Law but I could not refuse then I accepted this invitation. Today I'm Head Instructor at Gracie Barra North Vancouver, Professional Athlete at Gracie Barra Vancouver and MMA Fighter. I learn every day with my Professors, students and friends. I have a life that unfortunately my country has not given me, I love my country but I am very happy here. I'm so Thankful. "Thanks God step by step my dreams are coming true." My Main Reason to live in Canada. In 9th march 2012 unfortunately I lost my older brother but before he died, I called to him, saying "I was fine and happy and when I came back to Brazil I was going to bring to him a nice watch as a Gift." I Could hear his Happiness by Phone. He asked me not to come back to Brazil, and to stay here in Canada to be making my life. I couldn't see him again to give his gift. But i Fulfill his request."
