Biography
John Thompson is a Division I golfer for Howard University, where he brings a powerful, disciplined game to the Bison lineup. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Thompson began playing golf at age three and quickly rose through the junior ranks with standout performances in the SCJGA, U.S. Kids Tour, and multiple state‑level championships.
A member of the Underrated Golf Tour, Congaree Global Golf Initiative, and the PGA Pathway to Progression, Thompson is recognized nationally as one of the sport’s rising young talents. At Howard, he majors in Sports Management and continues to develop a competitive, mentally tough playing style with aspirations of reaching the PGA Tour.
