How long have you been doing your sport?

I have been practising the Gentle Art since I was 14 years old. I began with Victor Estima in Halesowen. On my 16th Birthday I was awarded my blue belt and then halted my training to focus on my education. I returned to training & competing within Jiu Jitsu September of 2014.

What are some of your biggest accomplishments?

After one month of returning to training I won weight & absolute at the BJJ British Open. I then travelled to America to train & compete for 4 weeks. While there I competed at the NoGi Pan American Championships in New York, USA. I got silver in both my weight class & the Open weight. The week later I travelled to California, USA to compete at the IBJJF NoGi World Championships where I placed third in my category. This year I competed at the NoGi European Championships and took Second place in my division.

I am currently ranked IBJJF #3 in the World at Blue belt Female NoGi

What's your athletic dream?

My dream is to become a Black Belt World Champion in the art of Jiu Jitsu

Have you had to overcome any obstacles to get here?

I travelled to Finland to compete in the Finnish Open to attempt to qualify for the ticket to the World Championships. Unfortunately, I did not secure first place at this competition & lost in the finals 7-6! M
