Here’s a little background on Rav in bullet points:
- Active triathlete since 1982. First triathlon race at age 14 in the first Chicago Triathlon.
- Has raced on and off for 34 years in all distances and disciplines: marathons, ultras, aquathlons, triathlons and duathlons of all distances
- Represented Team GB a few times in the World and European Championships
- Currently a Timex Factory Team member
- Has been coaching athletes of all ages for 12 years
- Now Co-Owner of Tri One (http://tri1.co.uk) - coaching and events – after 21 years in the IT industry
- Coaching Certifications include: Level 2 British Triathlon and Ironman University
- Completed 12 Ironman races and entered 17 in total

In 2015 , I made a major career move from the corporate IT world to becoming a small business owner of Tri One, a triathlon coaching and events company in the UK. I've had a passion for the sport all my life.
When people ask why I do triathlon or even Ironman, my answer is "Because I can ."
I love giving back and enjoy seeing even young primary school kids my daughters age enjoying the sport.
