Biography
Hi !
My name is Luka Van den Keybus and I have been competing at a professional level in Gymnastics for the last 15 years. As a member and captain of the Belgian national team, my greatest achievements have been winning the silver medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China also a 16th place as an allrounder at the last World Championships in Kitakyushu, Japan and beating many top gymnasts along the way.
I started my life Gymnastics when I was 8 years old because I was a child with waaaay to much energy. Since then my days have been filled with training, 30+ hours and 6 days of the week for the ultimate dream. Along the way, I've competed for Belgium in the Youth Olympic Games, 4 European championships, the European Games, 3 World championships and many competitions in between, which allowed me to arrive where I am today.
My absolute goal is to compete at the World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium 2023. Evidently between then and now there are still important targets to accomplish !
On my way to the World Championship in Antwerp, the following challenges are on the program:

A successful participation in the World Gymnastics Championships in Antwerp in 2023!
In order to achieve my dream, I train about 30 hours a week in the Topsportcentrum in Ghent. 6 days out of 7 you can find me in the gymhall where, in addition to intensive training, I focus on the development of my body in function of my sport. For this I invest in healthy food, supplements and recovery systems. In addition, I stay in Ghent between training sessions to be able to recuperate as much as possible and to take sufficient rest and to limit the commute to my hometown.
Thanks in part to your support, I can prepare myself optimally to achieve my predetermined sporting goals.
