I am a full time unfunded athlete, representing Great Britain in Judo at -66kg.
I live and train full time at Camberley Judo Club, located in Surrey.
A typical training day for me consists of up to 3-4 sessions, such as Specific Conditioning (rowing, running and circuits), Olympic lifting, Weight lifting, Plyometrics, Judo technique and Judo sparring. I've also added Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to my programme, which is giving me a sharp edge on the ground.
I'm unfortunate not to be funded, but there's a lot of people in the same boat as me.
I am lucky though to have great support and people around me but it just falls short when it comes to financial issues.
So this is why I'm trying to raise funds to assist and help my campaign, so I can get out to as many Olympic Qualifiers as I can.
The top 22 world ranked males in each weight category automatically qualify for the Olympic games.
Before I was recently injured I was ranked 37th in the world and climbing at a strong rate.
But now I'm back and I'm in the best shape I've ever been, both physically and mentally.
After my first successful MAKEACHAMP campaign earlier this year which has helped me hugely towards my road to Rio, because the money I raised got me out to Japan for a 3 week intense training block to give me a strong kick start to my Olympic Campaign.
With the little money I had left from Japan, I've put it together with some other financial help I received to compete at my first two Olympic Qualifying events at the beginning of November;

Hoping I raise enough from you amazing people to attend several or more Olympic Qualifying tournaments at end of this year and the beginning of 2015.

My life revolves around training and pushing myself in every way possible and I will leave no stone unturned to achieve all my goals and my ultimate goal of being the first British Judo player to win the Olympics.
For judo it is a two year qualifying block, so it's a tough and long road but means there is a lot of medals and points up for grabs.
So the more competitions I can get out to, the better chance I will have to not only qualify for the Rio Olympics but to be fighting for that medal I'm intensely hunting for and very much able to a achieve with your help.
