Biography
Samantha C. Taylor
- I started my powerlifting journey in 2013 at the NLPA Open, placing first in the 84kg Jr Class
- Canadian Powerlifting Nationals 2014 I placed 1st in the 84kg Jr Class
- International Powerlifting Federation Classic Worlds 2014 I placed 4th overall as a 72kg Jr. in the World with a silver medal in the deadlift
- Eastern Canadian Championships 2014 I placed 1st in the 63kg Jr Class and also won the Best Overall Junior Award for females
- I am now determined to get to The North American Championships and win a medal for Canada on the international platform
I am beyond proud to be part of Team Canada for a second year after just two short years of being involved in the sport. It is such an honour to wear the Canadian Team Uniform; eager to make this country proud!
