Biography
I am Sam Bolton, a British Ski Jumper, based in Calgary, Canada. I have been competing in Ski Jumping since I was eight years old. Over the past five years, I have competed in Canada - Whistler, BC and Calgary, Alberta; the USA - Park City, Utah, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Szczyrk in Poland and Villach in Austria. I have also trained in Planica, Slovenia and Wisla, Poland.
My main achievements have been winning the Canadian Junior Championships twice in a row (2016 and 2017) and coming second and third in two USA Cup events in February and March 2017. My personal best distance is 126m when training at Park City.
My long-term athletic dream is to jump at the Olympics. In the short term, however, I hope to compete at FIS Cups in Europe this coming summer (2017).
Between my studies at the National Sports School in Calgary, and being a dedicated athlete, I am always on the move. Your contribution would allow me to focus more of my time on training, allowing me to reach my athletic goals.
