Biography
Hi! My name is Virginia. I am 18 years old from Lethbridge, Alberta. I have been doing Judo since the age of 6 after I first participated in Sensei Yosh Senda's summer camp. I quickly found I had a knack for throwing people around and immediately fell in love with the sport. I currently train at the Kyodokan Judo Club in Lethbridge 6 days a week, where weight-lighting and cardio are a part of the schedule.
I have been successful in achieving gold medals at the Quebec Open, Ontario Open, Pacific Open (Vancouver), Junior U.S. Open (Fort Lauderdale), Junior Olympics (Irving/Dallas), and I hold 2 Canadian National titles. I've received both local and provincial recognition awards. I am currently ranked 1st in the u21 -48kg division in Canada.
