Biography
My name is Cindy Wills and I am an Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) athlete. I've been granted the opportunity to go to Canada in October to represent South Africa in the OCR World Championships (OCRWC).
In January 2015 I took part in my first obstacle race for the fun of it, and continued to do so for the remainder of 2015. In March 2016 I took part in my first Elite race, and placed 5th, and later ending 3rd in the seeding for the year, and qualifying for OCRWC.
My biggest challenge as an athlete, and many of us face the same difficulty, is working a normal job and trying to achieve your goal of being an athlete.
Getting to World Championships is an amazing opportunity, I can't wait to be there to represent the country and to share it with the rest of the SA team. My aim is to come home with a top 5 position and that this is just the start of my fantastic OCR journey
