Biography
Hello!
My name is Elena Yakovishina. I am from beautiful Kamchatka (far east of Russia).
My parents like skiing. When I was 3 years old my parents came back to home after good skiing day and I put on my mother's shoes I took a stick and glasses. And I fell in love with skiing...
Skiing and everything connected with them my life, dream. I am grateful to have the opportunity to be part of the ski world. I was in Speed Team of Russia from 2012 year. At the moment, I want to continue to race in the speed disciplines. I will be in S-TEAM. They will give me all for speed.
I am cooperating mine training and season with S-TEAM. The Russian federation are not pays, I have to pay by myself... Mine season costs me in total about 140.000 EUR (salary for serviceman and coaches, travel costs, accommodation costs and others). I am trying find some sponsors and and it takes time.
My main goals this year are: to be in the top 30 in the world (speed) at the end of the season.
I have been to 1 Olympic games and the feeling of represent your country is indescribable. This season I am preparing myself for the World Championship in St. Moritz in Switzerland and your donation support will help me very much to get into the best shape I can, I promise.
