Biography
My name is Finley Best. I love dance and have been dancing since I was 2 years old. Ballet is my favorite! This year, I have started to train harder in Ballet. I take classes 5 days a week and also train at home.
I’m a homeschooled 2nd grader which gives me the extra time to put towards my ballet training. I auditioned for the first time in January for Joffrey Ballet Summer Intensive. It’s an opportunity to train with a professional ballet company during the summer!
I was over the moon excited when I received my acceptance letter into the program! I’ll be working 5 days a week for a total of 40 hours! My parents support me and work hard to help me reach my goals. My mom drives me to all my classes and soon to my first dance competitions! Since they already work so hard for me, I asked them if I could try and raise funds on my own.
I’m a very driven 8 year old and I know this summer intensive with the Joffrey Ballet will definitely help me reach new heights! My big goal is to make it to the Youth America Grand Prix stage in January 2024, as a competitive young ballerina.
This campaign is only the beginning for my ballet journey!
