Biography
I am Johann Figueroa- Member of Team Super Star FightingFilms @ -73kg.
I am 17 years old and I have dreams and hopes of becoming the first USA male Judoka to win a world championships and then become Olympic Champion the same year!
To make this happen, I need to be ranked number one on the USA Judo National Senior Elite Rosters. And to do that I need to go to as many international judo tournaments as I can. Also training hard and abroad in training camps.
Unfortunately, USA Judo does not fund its junior athletes like other countries do. So, I have to raise funds to cover the cost of a flight, hotel, food, transportation, chaperones, and tournament entry fees.
I will be starting now in the Seniors Division once I finish my two years of Active Duty in the Military. I cannot accomplish my goal without the support of my family and my fans that have watched me fight through injuries and tough battles.
