Biography
I started judo at the age of 11 years old. I have been passionate about Judo since that time and I have worked tirelessly to make it to where I am today. I have battled through a broken femur (out 3 months), a broken forearm (out 3 months), an enlarged spleen (out 1 year), a grade 3 shoulder separation (out 5 months prior to 2023 CWG), and a concussion (out 1 month) but it has all been worth it to reach this level in my journey. This year I am trying to qualify for the Canadian National Team rosters in both Judo and Wrestling. A big part of this is my coaching staff and my training group. Training with Tritton Performance in Montreal, now on a full time basis, and competing against such high level athletes, pushes me every day to grow and challenge my limits. Attending the Ontario Open, the Quebec Open and the Canada Cup along with the other tournaments this coming year, will be a huge step towards my goal to compete for Canada at the World Championships and Olympics. I will be travelling to attend approximately ten tournaments all over Canada for both judo and wrestling this season.
