I created this campaign because:
This elite race is by invitation only. It is a 7 day race in Antarctica hosted by Racing The Planet who organizes a series of 250 km, self-supported races called the Four Deserts. I earned a spot in this Antarctica race by completing three of the deserts. The first in February, in the deserts of Wadi Rum in Jordan. Then in June, in the Gobi desert in China. And most recently, in October, in the Atacama desert in Chile.

I'm going for THREE Canadian records:
- 1st Canadian woman to compete in this Antarctica 250 km, 7 day stage race
- 1st Canadian woman to complete the Four Deserts series
- 1st Canadian woman to join the Four Deserts Grand Slam Club (running all 4 races in 1 year)
I have managed to conquer 750 km in the last 3 desert ultras and I would love your help to get me to The Last Desert, Antarctica to be the first Canadian woman to accomplish this feat!
I will be using the funds for:
- the registration fee for The Last Desert, a multi-day stage race in Antarctica = $13,000
- flights to the departure point in Ushuaia, Argentina = $2,500
- special gear $900
- 18% handing fee (3% for Paypal, 15% for Make a Champ)
