Biography
Hello,
My name is Punith Mishra. I am from Bengaluru, India and presently residing at The Hague, Netherlands. I am presently studying Masters in Management of Technology at Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. I am truly passionate about Ultra Cycling, which I exercise as often as I can despite my busy academic work. My goal is to become one of the best athletes in my sport, and I need your help to turn the impossible into a reality.
My longest ride so far has been 616.1 kms (Bengaluru-Bhadra-Bengaluru) in 28 hours and 12 minutes (with 1 hour sleep). Its time to go big! I am attempting totally unsupported 1200 kms Ultra Cycling event on 11th Sep to 15th Sep 2021. This is organized by Randonneurs NL – Netherlands. I need to complete 1200 kms within 90 hours. Max I can cycle without sleep is around 60 hrs. I would definitely to need arrange hotels for this event. Which makes the participation more expensive for me. My plan is to cycle 18 hours a day and sleep for 4 hours each day. My body demands at least 2 hours of cooling before I can sleep after 18 hours of cycling per day , so that would be 4+2 = 6 hrs per day rest. With this plan, I hope to complete 1200 kms in around 80 hours (maybe earlier or little later depending on weather conditions).
