Biography
My name is Sofia Groves and I've been a Flat Water Racing Kayaker since I was 10 years old. I represented GB at Olympic Hopes 2018 in Poland, have been selected to represent GB at the Brandenburg International Regatta 24-26 May 2019 and should qualify for Olympic Hopes 2019. For these events the athlete have to make a significant contribution which is why I hope to raise a £1000 to cover the cost of these events. My parents fund all my training, training camps, equipment and a two boats in the last three years.
My aim is to be selected for the British Canoeing English National Talent Squad and then the Olympic Development Programme.
