I created this campaign because:
Hey everyone, my name is Trevor O'Connor and I am a 42 year old, yes 42 year old, amateur MMA fighter. I made my MMA debut on January 17th 2015 and after that victory I immediately accepted a fight with the same promotion on March 14th 2015. This is a great scenario from an athletic standpoint as I am in great shape and can continue to improve my skills for this next fight. The downfall is that I don't have very much time to raise money to cover the costs of another fight camp. The diet and supplements necessary to keep my 42 year old body healthy alone are enough to break the bank let alone the added costs of strength and conditioning outside of striking, grappling and Jiu Jitsu. I would love to keep this momentum going and continue fight 3 more times throughout 2015 and challenge for title by the end of the year.

The funds I raise will be used to pay for my dietary needs along with fees for the additional gym needed for strength and conditioning, necessary gear and training supplies. It will also be used to pay additional hours with my striking and grappling coaches. I have a great team and they give me as much of their time as possible but they have families to feed as well.

I step in that cage and put my health and well being on the line and I owe it to myself, my friends and my family to be 100% prepared and ready to do the job.
