When I was very young, I was introduced to the game of squash. After watching the top pros play in the Tournament of Champions in NYC at age 9, I dreamt that one day I too would join the professional squash tour. Although the journey was a lot harder than I’d envisioned as a 9-year-old boy, my perseverance, drive and strong work ethic have all contributed to helping me become the professional squash player I am today.
Before I launched my pro career, I was a member of the Dartmouth Men’s Squash Team, playing #1 on the ladder throughout my 4 years in college. During my playing career at Dartmouth, I was a 4-time All-Ivy first team honoree, a 3-time All-American first team honoree, and was twice named a CSA Scholar Athlete. In 2013, I received the Skillman Award which is the most prestigious award given in college squash (I was only the second Dartmouth player to win the award in its 31-year history). I also had the great honor of winning the Kenneth Archibald Prize, an award given to the member of the graduating class of Dartmouth College "who has been the best all-around athlete, regard also being given to moral worth and high standing in scholarship.”
As a current member of the U.S. National Team, I recently competed at the 2015 Pan American Games, winning bronze in both the men’s doubles and team events. I am currently ranked #91 on the PSA World Tour. My 4 major goals are: to become the U.S. National Champion, to earn a Top 50 world ranking, to win gold at the 2019 Pan American Games in Peru, and to compete in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo if squash is added to the program list.
