Biographie
Hello Everyone! Thanks for coming to my page. I am a Taekwondo National Junior Team Member of the Nicaraguan team. I have been in the Taekwondo World for the last 11 years, I am 15 years old now and I have been truly blessed with a family that has supported me through this journey. I have started this page with the help of my older sister who is also a black belt in taekwondo.
In Nicaragua, I train with Master Dennis Berdugo, who is a renowned international referee and also with Master Eddy Silva, who was an Olympic Coach at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. He is currently the Coach for the Senior National Team.
My short term goal is to participate in the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics which will be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In order to do this, I need to participate in several championships and training camps held in different countries. If I get to make it to the Youth Olympics, it would probably be the only or one of the few times that my country would have an accomplishment that big. I’ve always had the economic support from my family and some other people that have believed in me, but in order to be able to travel and get the preparation that I need, I will also need YOUR support. Even the smallest contribution is always welcome! Thank you in advance! Help me accomplish my dream! I want to do this for me, my family and specially my country.
Here are some of my achievements up to this day:
Year 2017:
· Participated in USA Taekwondo Open (Las Vegas, NV)
· Junior National Team Member, Weight Division: -73Kgs
· Training Seminar led by Damián Villa, a Mexican Taekwondo Athlete, double World Medalist at the World Taekwondo Championships. He is also a Silver Medalist at Pan American Games and Central American Games
Year 2016:
· Participated at the Junior World Taekwondo Championships in Burnaby, Canada
· Silver Medal at the Costa Rica Taekwondo Open, G1. Fought against athletes from Argentina, Panama and Ecuador.
· Gold Medal in the World Taekwondo Open La Loma, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
· Training Camp at CAR La Loma (High Performance AthleticTraining Center) in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
· Training Seminar with Master Jean Lopez, USA National Team Coach, Olympic Coach, and known as one of the best Taekwondo Coaches in the world.
· Gold Medal in several national tournaments in Nicaragua
· Silver medal in Central American Open held in Nicaragua
Year 2015:
· Bronze Medal in the Official Pan-American Taekwondo Championship 2015 representing Nicaragua in Aguas Calientes, México
· Silver Medal in Central American Games (CODICADER) held in El Salvador
· Gold Medal at the World Taekwondo Open, La Loma, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
· Gold Medal at Costa Rica World Taekwondo Open
· Gold Medal at Panama World Taekwondo Open
· Training Camp at CAR La Loma (High Performance Athletic Training Center) in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
