Biographie
My name Is Ryan Wheeler and I'm 21 years old. I was born in Bath City and grew up in Frome, Somerset until 2004 when I decided to move with my Dad to Ratby in Leicester. This is when I first began boxing, at age 9, at Earl Shilton Boxing Club where I won my first title, the Midlands County Championship. I had around 30 contests for Earl Shilton.In 2010 my dad and I decided to return to Somerset and for a short while I lived in Radstock. I found a job and moved to Frome to be closer to work, which is where I live now.For the last 4 years I have boxed for Trowbridge Academy of Boxing. The gym took me a long way, helping me reach the final of the National Championships. I owe great Gratitude to both Earl Shilton and Trowbridge boxing club's for all their hard work and support. I then made the decision to turn pro last June and haven't looked back since. The last year has been difficult, but I've enjoyed every moment. Training can be tough, but I feel more confident in my boxing ability. I have had a slow start in the last year after having two bouts cancelled I ended my first year with two fights, With a draw in my debut and a win in my second fight. I would like to thank all my family, friends and Training Team for all their help and support. I also owe a massive amount of appreciation to both 'Red Falcon Project' and 'Metro Rod Bristol' for sponsoring me in my first year as a professional boxer helping with funds for my Annual boxing licence and medical also gym membership and a nutritionist. As I enter my 2nd year as a professional boxer I am looking for more help to renew my boxing licence and medical.
