Biographie
My name is Yasyiar Bonne Gea
I have been competing at a professional level in surfing for the last 15 years. My greatest achievement has been winning Indonesian Surfing Championship for 5 years in a row and Asian Surfing Championship for 2 years and beating many top players along the way.
I started surfing when I was very young because surfing is really my passion. Along the way, I won the national and international female surf contest which allowed me to arrive where I am today. My main goal now is to compete at International surfing competition.

- 2011- ASC ( Asian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
- 2012- ISC ( Indonesian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
- 2011- ISC ( Indonesian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
- 2010- ISC ( Indonesian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
- 2009- ISC ( Indonesian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
- 2008- ISC ( Indonesian Surfing Championship ) - Woman champion of the year
A short story about my background:
" It was hard to follow my passion of surfing when I was a little girl because adults said that girls should not surf. They said I should be at home and they worried about my skin going black.
I have quite a strong independent spirit and I was determined to follow my own way.
And at that time, I was the only girl surfing and run straight to the beach every day after school.
I am happy and no regret with the decision I've made so far.
Now I can make my family proud of myself, help them and of course it feels amazing if I can be an inspiration for women especially in Indonesia. "
