I am 19 year old Brittany Joseph and I have been competing at a professional level in table tennis for the last 10 years. As a member of the Trinidad and Tobago national team, my greatest achievement has been capturing 3 gold medals and 2 bronze medals at the World Junior Circuit, as well as securing 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze at the Caribbean Junior Championships in 2016, and beating many top players along the way.
I started table tennis when I was 9 years old because I saw my older brother participating in a tournament and decided that I should try it out at his next training session, which I did and could not stop after such. Along the way, I have been in the top 11 junior athletes in my country, won the national senior women championships at just 14 years and again at 19 in 2017, as well as represent my country at the World University Games in Taiwan in 2017, which allowed me to arrive where I am today. My main goal now is to compete at the 2024 Olympic games said to take place in Paris but however firstly I need to take part in more international tournaments therefore I would like to start at the US Open in Las Vegas in June 2018.
