I am a 25 year old Pro Triathlete from St. Lawrence, Newfoundland, Canada. I currently reside in Ottawa, ON for the coaching, training, and community network it offers.
I have been an athlete since I could walk.All throughout childhood, sports were my life! I was a varsity runner and swimmer from 2008-2012 at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Since the summer of 2012 I have been representing Canada as an Elite Triathlete. To guarantee my best performance and to win a World title throughout my career, it is becoming necessary to train and compete full time in the sport of triathlon.
In 2016 I will attend professional triathlons as a part of the Xterra World Tour series, Challenge Americas triathlon series, ITU Triathlon, and Ironman 70.3 events. For cost efficiency reasons, I will compete in as many domestic events as possible and keep most of my racing in the United States and Canada. This plan will carry through most of 2016, after which I plan to get much more European, Middle Eastern, and Down under racing experience.
I will continue to participate in some local athletic events in the Ottawa, whenever possible as I love the local atmosphere!

Greater Purpose:
I want to help others reach their best in health and fitness. In 2016, I want to reduce heart disease and stroke in Canada.
I will be hosting my own events in 2016 in Ottawa to fund raise for the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation (HSF), as well as speaking on behalf of HSF which I will be fundraising in support of, in addition to raising awareness.
I plan to combine income from my personal coaching business (50% of proceeds), along with moneys from events and any donations.
Right now, I am asking you to help me kick start my professional triathlon season!
A lot of my racing will be funded by my full time job, but I will be highly competitive in these races thanks to the fitness you helped me reach early in the season!
