Biografia
My name is Josiah Ricks and I live in North Carolina, USA. I am a student at Northern Nash High School in Rocky Mount, NC. I am truly passionate about Basketball, I love the game, i love the adrenaline, and I love the way I feel when I'm playing, it helps me to clear my mind and relieve stress.
I started playing when I was in 13 years old and now I am 16 years old and in the 11th grade. My goal is to improve as a basketball player and as a student. This is why I am asking you to join me in my journey with the 2019 Juice All-Stars NC, AAU Basketball Team.
Juice All-Stars NC, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the mission of helping youth boys grow and develop into young men, athletes, and students. Playing with Juice will teach me how to be a leader and how to be a contributor to the team. Coach Black says I have the potential to be a combo guard and I accept the challenge of learning something new that could expand my game, allowing me to explore different styles of play.
I started training with Juice All-Stars as a part of the skills development and training program. I was asked to tryout for the team and I made it. My personal goal is to position myself to help contribute to the success of my high school team next season. I want to be prepared as a Senior, to step up and become a leader for my team. The time is now and my journey with Juice All-Stars will help achieve this goal. I only get one shot at this, if I want to become a signed senior this time next year. I have to take advantage of what I can learn with Juice now. When I return to my high school team for summer workouts, I want to be ready.
I am ready to work hard, but at the same time, I know that the road to success will be costly. By supporting me today, you are investing into something bigger than just a fundraiser. You're changing my life. Thank you for your support!
