My name is Tom Maynard, I am a 23 year old table tennis player from Reading. Currently ranked 11 in England. I am inviting you to take part in my journey.......I have been playing table tennis since I was 12 and working hard to achieve my dreams, but it has now come to the point where I can progress no further without financial help. I receive no funding or support and now have very limited training opportunities. Unless I can find some funding I will struggle to continue playing the sport I love.
This is where you can help, my goals are to achieve an initial world ranking and improve it over 2015 whilst continuing to enhance my U.K ranking and playing standard. The only way to do this is by competing in international tournament's and access better training and coaching around the world. However doing this is not cheap and my limited personal resources unfortunately do not make up for the shortcomings that I frequently face, this is why I seek your help. With the support of individuals like yourself I will have a much greater chance to succeed!
